ADOPTED!! Sweet Lily is ready for her forever home! She’s so sweet, smart and eternally happy! This special little girl has had lots to deal with her first three months of life. Surrendered with a broken pelvis Lily has recovered from that but the damage to her nerves in one of her legs is causing her to not use her leg. When she’s old enough to be spayed Lily will join the ranks of amazing tripod pups. If you are interested in Lily or for information on the adoption process click here. There you will find the online application which, when completed, can be emailed to applications@luvinlabs.com. Upon receipt of the application a volunteer will be in touch with you within 10 day
ADOPTED!! Meet 4-year-old Zoey, a very loving, beautiful English lab, who will make a great family pet. She has soft fur and loves to snuggle with family members on the couch, if allowed. She enjoys walks with her caregivers and captures the attention of passersby with her good looks. She is crate trained (the crate is her ‘safe’ place and she loves it) and she gets along well with other dogs, including her foster dog and cat siblings. Zoey is hard of hearing and since she can’t hear voice commands, she is learning hand signals to focus, sit, come, stop and stay. She loves training time with her family because she wants to please. She also is a champ at coming in along with the other dogs or (when it’s dark out) as we turn the outside light off and on a couple times. She will need a special family that understands she’s just a little more special than others. Zoey is looking for a home where her family is home most of the time and she’ll be a spoiled indoor dog. She must have another canine companion in the home. If you are interested click here for information on the adoption process. There you will find the online application which, when completed, can be emailed to applications@luvinlabs.com. Upon receipt of the application a volunteer will be in touch with you within 10 days. Should you have additional questions, please email colleen@luvinlabs.com. Read the rest of this entry »
ADOPTED!!
From her foster mom: Kayla is probably the smartest foster dog I have had. She is housebroken and knows the following commands: sit, stay, wait, shake, drop it, and probably others that I haven’t thought of. She is very sweet and would love to sleep on the bed with you but also understands if that is not ok. She is happy to be with my dog but probably would be fine as an only dog as well. She ignores my cat and does not bother him at all. She loves stuffed animals and has her favorite hippo that she carries around the house. The only thing we are working on is leash manners. She probably knows this but just needs some refresher training. In all, Kayla is a wonderful dog and still has plenty of years left to enjoy. Kayla is estimated to be around 8 or 9 years old. If you are interested in adopting Kayla click here for information on the adoption process. There you will find the online application which, when completed, can be emailed to applications@luvinlabs.com. Upon receipt of the application a volunteer will be in touch with you within 10 days. Should you have additional questions, please email colleen@luvinlabs.com.

Beautiful senior Roxy came to us with her son Rex in tow after being left at a high kill shelter by the owner who had been her family for her entire life. After getting to know these two, it was apparent that Roxy was ready to enjoy life as a single gal and was happy to see Rex go out on his own. Roxy is a 10 year old pure bred yellow lab, very sweet, great with kids, good with other dogs. She loves to play fetch and enjoys attention. Roxy tested heart worm positive and is going through treatment at this time.
If you are interested in meeting Roxy click here for information on the adoption process. There you will find the online application which, when completed, can be emailed to applications@luvinlabs.com. Upon receipt of the application a volunteer will be in touch with you within 10 days. Should you have additional questions, please email colleen@luvinlabs.com.
Looking for an athletic best friend…meet Chase. Chase is a 3-year-old, very energetic lab, whose favorites activities are playing ball, going for walks and playing in the pool. Chase is great with other dogs (both large and small), gets along with cats and loves people. He is crate and house trained, is learning more commands every day and is smart and curious about everything. Chase can be shy about loud noises. His fosters have been working with him on this and his new home will have to continue helping him feel confident as he experiences the world of cars and trucks and our noisy world. Having another dog in the home would be of great benefit to Chase.
This is what his fosters have to say about Chase:
Handsome, with beautiful black coat and athletic build Intelligent, perceptive Likes to be with his people Affectionate, gives lots of kisses House-trained Kennel trained Loves to play ball; excellent catch Loves to go walking; walks very well on the leash Sits for meals and treats Responds well when his name is called Knows several commands, including sit, wait, stay, sit-stay, leave it Rarely barks Learns/adapts to household routines, such as going to bed in the evening.
If you are interested in adopting Chase click here for information on the adoption process. There you will find the online application which, when completed, can be emailed to applications@luvinlabs.com. Upon receipt of the application a volunteer will be in touch with you within 10 days. Should you have additional questions, please email colleen@luvinlabs.com.

PENDING ADOPTION 5/15/2015 – Just too cute for words…Claire is the proud mom to eight healthy loving puppies who are looking for their perfect forever home (Claire already has her own forever home). These precious babies will be ready to go home approximately the third week of May.
Claudette – yellow female – I’m a bit of a shy girl but don’t let that fool you. I like to investigate everything! I’m very loving.
Maggie Mae – chocolate female – I may be small but my personality is big! I’m a very sweet, smart and people friendly pup.
Nova – chocolate female – I like to lounge around and watch my siblings play, occasionally I’ll join in the fun. I especially enjoy time with my human friends. I’m very smart.
Quinn – yellow female – I’m a princess and I know it! Playing is fun but I’d prefer to spend time with my human friends.
Sammi – yellow female – I look just like my brother Tank. I’m a very sweet girl and like to play rough with the boys.
Tank – yellow male – I’m the biggest of the bunch. I’m a smart boy who already potties where I’m suppose to!
Theodore – yellow male – I’m a bit of a rascal. I’m very energetic and outgoing. Playtime is my favorite time.
Bigsby – chocolate male – I’m almost as big as my brother Tank. I’m a very smart boy and I also know where to potty! I love to play with my siblings and toys.
While Labrador puppies are adorable they are not right for everyone. We are extremely careful in our placement of puppies as each has special needs that includes the time commitment for training, bonding, and supervising in order to make them the best canine citizens they can become.
