Adoption Pending 2/14/12 Sweet GIGI is a gorgeous, chocolate Labrador Retriever (who looks to be pure bred), that was surrendered to the Farmington shelter with her pups when her owner lost his job.  Notes from her past owner say she is a great girl and really deserves a loving home; we totally agree.

Update from GIGI:  If you’re reading about me and looking at my stunning photos, my name’s GIGI and I am around 2 to 3 years old.  I’m medium in size (just over 60 pounds), with the silkiest coat and ears……perfect for a lab lover, who is seeking a lab that’s not super-sized.  I have the sweetest, most gentle soul, and will stare into your eyes with trust and hope, just as I am in my picture (see how pretty I am?).  I love being around people, both young and old, other dogs and even cats.  I’m not food aggressive, and I don’t mind dining with other pups.  I’m still learning about the whole crate thing…….I know it’s supposed to be my safe den, so I need a little work with that.  My favorite spot is a doggie bed at night by your bed and I promise not to snore too loud.  I’m very good on a leash and love to ride in the car or a truck.  Although I’ve only been rescued recently, I’ve already heard from these great folks that I have so much potential and just need a loving family to help me blossom.  In a nut shell, if you’re looking for a beautiful, chocolate girl, who wants nothing more than to be a loyal companion and part of your family, than scroll down no further, and call to meet me at 505/362-0331.
